Compagnia d’Arte Drummatica
Animation movie live soundtrack

One of the most challenging "incidental" occasions for Compagnia is working on live soundtrack of animated movies. This universe - infinite as to techniques, poetics, imagination - has led the group to compose and perform music and sounds for old movies and contemporary short films. These new horizons have been recently opened to the group thanks to Andrea Martignoni’s competence in this field.

Compagnia has made soundtracks for:
L’Idée by Berthold Bartosh (1932);
Komposition in blau by Oskar Fischinger (1935);
Cinderella by Lotte Reiniger (1922);
Death feigning Chinaman by Lotte Reiniger (1928);
The Nose by Alexandre Alexeieff (1963);
Heaven and Earth Magic by Harry Smith (1962);
The sinking of the Lusitania by Winsor McCay (1918);
Panta Rhei by Marcin Gizycki (2008);
Aqatura by Marcin Gizycki (2010).

They were performed at the international festivals:
CinemAria, Mantova - Italy (2004);
Animator Festival, Poznan - Poland (2009-2010-2011);
Animateka, Ljubljana - Slovenija (2010);
Rencontres Internationales du Cinéma d’Animation, Wissembourg - France (2012);
Rimusicazioni, Bolzano (2013).../erosha/Andrea%20Martignoni.html
